Below is our “Mechanical Net Trap” Rule Base – These rules are based on the original Net Trap system and they mean that we can trade the system 100% mechanically each and every day. The main reason we developed this approach is that, some days, in our opinion, there was room for interpretation of what was or was not a signal. We found some days we were undecided on a valid entry and these rules now mean that we will always have a clear signal, YES or NO.
Those that have purchased and actively trade the Net Trap system should be able to work out what we are referring to here, U - Up, D - Down, F - Flat. To confirm, we have considered the Net Trap manual, our trading experiences and previous Net Trap support responses whilst creating this Mechanical Rule Base.

The basis of our Mechanical Rule Base is that we must have at least 3 X’s (where X is U or D) to indicate a trend, with a majority of at least 2 over the opposing trend. This means we are looking for the following scenarios; at least 3:1, 4:2, 5:3, 6:4 with no more than 2 consecutives X’s in the opposite direction (as per Net Trap rules).

So:

- UUFFFFDFFF, DFFFFDFFUF are not valid trades – Less than 3 X’s in the same direction to support a trend.
- Any trade with UU or DD in the sequence (as per Net Trap rules) against the main trend invalidates the trade, e.g. UUUUFFDDFF and DDDDDFFUUD are invalid trades.
- UUFDUUFDFD, DDUFUDUDDU = 4:3 & 5:4 Ratios so these are invalid trades.
- UUUFFFFFFD is valid – 3:1 or greater
- UUUUFFDFDF is valid – 4:2 or greater
- DDDFDFUFUD is valid – 5:3 or greater
- DDUDDUDUDU is valid – 6:4

This Mechanical Rule Base is by no means a recommendation – It is just us confirming the basis on how we will continue to trade the Net Trap system 100% mechanically from now on. All our results reported on this website will be based on applying this Rule Base alongside the core Net Trap system.
