ROFL! I have 'issues' with my memory and have already forgotten the first bits I read on the BD forum. I also have a very short attention

I suspect the way to tackle Black Dog might be to set up the charts and practice trade the charts, referring to the forum as you encounter any difficulties. I fear I won't live long enough to be able to read every post on every nuance and then begin trading. In the end it appears to filter down to being on the right side of the Moving Averages and recent highs/lows, but please correct me if I'm wrong!

Zorba - if you were asleep at 12.28am rather than posting here, your memory and attention might improve - I can get by on 8 hours sleep, but 9 are better, (record is 13), hence my hesitation to buy Forex Morning Trade!

Has anyone mentioned the repainting indi's on BD? In a ranging market, the indi's are liable to repaint.

Yes, during our review, which is still in progress, we have witnessed repainting, review will more than likely be posted in January.

Hi Zorba,

I think it's a case of the actual point of the cross moving a candle earlier/later in a ranging market. I'm not sure if the code is applied to the close or open.

Agreed, it is likely to be when for example a cross occurs intra candle, thus an indicator is painted, if price then changes direction that indicator would disappear - All that is required, in our limited experience on this subject would probably be to simply only paint on completion of a candle.

RT and Mr. Dubai - thanks for that - I've always wondered about repainting. To my small coder brain it always said 'bad code'. The candle close would seem to be the obvious choice otherwise the candle is 'goods in transit'.
