    Question Trading Rooms

Have you considered using skype or some other live chat for the live trading rooms, rather than the forum.

    Hiya,

Thanks for the suggestion - Yes we have - But it is too big of a commitment - We do this because we enjoy doing it and want to give something to the trading community - We would not like to have such a commitment. It is something we may look into in the future when/if (BIG WHEN/IF) we get to the stage where we decide to take more "systemsfortraders administrators" on board!

I've only just found this thread. I can see both sides of it - good to use, nightmare to organise?

Is it just me who keeps getting confused by the forum layout though? It baffles me when I click on a section and it expands out to show loads of topics that I didn't notice before. I guess I keep going into the section through the latest post link?

Yes....not necessarily, using skype or adding something like Gixawchat which can bolt onto vBulletin, calls are quicker and in 'real time' plus those struggling understanding a system can get instant help.

It's not everyone's 'cup of tea', but it was a suggestion...

No.... I am still finding my way around...

Not that I've tried any kind of voice based trading room yet, but I'd have a go. I have to add that the slightly tweaked forum layout which shows all the trading rooms is much better. Thanks Reviewteam.

Just to clarify its not voice based, just text but 'real time' i.e. info appears instantly.

Even better. I use this kind of chat all the time for friends and work - great for numbers
