ProFX V2.0
Hi,
Could you please consider undertaking a review on the ProFX V2.0 system (by Forex EA Systems).
Its a manual system where auto signals are generated for the user to place their trades during certain key trading hours each day. I've been looking at the vendor's site for a few months now and their results look to be quite impressive... Ain't that the usual kiss of death?!!!
Best regards,
Simon.

I have the previous version of ProFx and it worked as advertised my only problem with it was all the sweet trades were during the UK trading hours. I only tested the GBPUSD.
The new version 2.0 is supposed to make it easier to understand the Buy/Sell signals and send out a SMS alert. I haven't personally tested this one as yet.
BTW this system and one previously reviewed by systemsfortraders for the 1 hr are the only two intra-day systems I had any luck with trading Forex over the past 4 years.
Just my 2 pips.

Hi marlintrdg,
Thanks for the info. ProFX reminds me slightly of that old chestnut the Isakas system released by a guy called kuskus (or something like that) a couple of years back - great for trending markets but a killer in ranging ones.
I'm going to carry on looking at ProFX's results this weekend for what they are worth (hindsight is a wonderful thing!) and have already seen a few "unmentioned" trades within the screen capture graphics that were losers, but without knowing the full rule set its hard to determine whether they should have been included.
Are you going to trade live with new version 2 soon, or is the UK trading session time thingy still a barrier to you? I'm sure all readers of this site would appreciate any feed back you have - enjoy the weekend.
Simon.

Re: ProFX V2.0
Hi Guys,
Good feedback, much appreciated. We have approached the guys at Pro FX V2.0 and hope to be doing a review in the coming months. We wish we could say weeks but we already have quite a lot on and it's only fair to give it a reasonable time-frame to get a more accurate view.
Once again, thanks for the input, do please keep us updated on progress if you can.

Hi Simon,
Their are a few rules to keep you out of ranging markets the main one of course is the times to trade. I have not purchased the new one as yet, still thinking about it, so I don't know if the rules have been updated.
EOD Trading Community Futures and daytrading stocks & indexes mainly S&P I know of no system outside putting on an options condor spread that will work in a ranging markets, it's just an occupational hazard for any trader.
Also there is a bit of a learning curb as with any new system, it took me the best part of 10 trading days (nights
) to settle down with it, just a FYI.
I have another intra-day system I use now that I'm happy with. I'm not sure If I can mention the name (of course you can, it's direct links that we do not like - we are guessing it's Sniper! (ReviewTeam)), but if you look through my previous posts you'll figure it out.
BTW doesn't ProFX V2.0 offer a money back period?

Hi mar,
Looking at ProFx small print re: money back reveals that a) its a Paypal purchase and b) it seems a bit discretionary - i.e. show them failed trades and maybe....
Have now had chance to study their past two months trades and compare them to my MT4 M30 charts and worked out what session times they use and it does look quite good although as mentioned before I saw a few "missed" ouch type trades tucked away, but again it might just be a timing thing or a no-no important news release juncture.
I haven't seen anything around that helps to avoid the dreaded chop monster biting your whatsit, the only way I get to avoid the sharp teeth is to take two hits on the chin and retire quietly to my corner and wait for a new round!
Hope your trading is going well, regards,
Simon.
