FX News Services

May I suggest a review of the various FX news services: http://www.forexfactory.com/ http://www.tradethenews.com/products-forex.asp http://www.cnbc.com/id/15839178/site/14081545/ http://www.investorsintelligence.com/x/fx_hotline.html

    Default News Services

    Thanks for the suggestions here.

Our belief with these services is that they are pretty much down to ones own personal preference.

For example, most of us at www.systemsfortraders.com use Forex Factory, only one of us prefers Daily FX, for news. We all use Forex Factory now and again, usually led there on some kind of search for some kind of information. Generally we just find a lot of like minded people willing to share mostly genuine comments, thoughts and offer free advice based on experience, which we like.

TradeTheNews we haven?t used, mainly for the reason we have to pay for it. We find the information we get from free services, e.g. Forex Factory, Bloomberg, CNBC (which you mention) and/or our brokers, is fine. The reason being none of us are of the nature where we trade the news or need to re-act particularly quickly it. This is not to say a paid service may not be useful, it's just we do not feel the need for it. At present we will not be devoting time to reviewing such services, however we may well do so in the future.

Again, Investors Intelligence falls into the not at present category for us. However, we do know its widely followed and quite technical in its approach.

Hope this helps a little, we know its probably not what you were hoping to hear but initially we will try and focus on the System/Services reviews. This is our aim as we really feel a need for such a forum in this industry, we mean one that is completely honest and unbiased. Perhaps we will get time to diversify at a later date.
