Claims like these are a "dime a dozen" just like on every other forum. Its always I made this, and I made that. But never can anyone show a myfxbook or MT4 stats pulic account. Some applies to this forum I have yet to see any account account details from the review team other than what they post or write never once from all the past trades have I ever seen any live myfxbook or other public stats. While I will give them the benefit of the doubt , I would remind open minded with the any public account . Same applies to you salvador too easy to make claims.

"Dime A Dozen" - Like Other Forums
Forex1,
There are no wild claims being made by anyone in our opinion and our forums will not become "like other forums".
It takes a long time to establish trust and that is what we and our regular contributers will achieve and solidify over time, assuming those parties are indeed trustworthy.
We for one have no intention ever of publishing any of our live accounts, to anyone, period. Nor would we expect or even want anyone else to post them in this forum.
We ask that you participate in this forum in the manner in which everyone else seems to and if you prefer the more "honest" myfxbook/MT4 stats public account (whatever they are) then that is where you should be, not here.
These forums will not become a place for off-topic conversations or slanging matches. As you rightly point out, there are many other forums around to support that kind of behaviour.

I didn't say I made X pips or whatever. Actually the past 3 months have been losers to me on GBPUSD due to the sideways range.
Fortunately, I know better and I spread my risk through other pairs and assets, so if one happens to be losing most likely other assets will compensate. GBPUSD has been very strong against USD (although it's not rising either).
It's not very hard to believe how one would make 1500 pips in May/June 2009, it was all straight up how could someone not make money then?
The same way for EURUSD the past 2 months it has been a 1500 pip decline almost straight down !
As for mt4 or whatever I use interactive brokers so can't be of much help there...
And as for sniper i've been using it well before than what I knew Sniper was... it's just a bunch of Weighted Moving Averages on the close, high and low, the stops are just normal volatility stops based on ATR... it's not rocket science really.
I don't use MT4 as i said i use interactive brokers and SaxoBank and I would never put a statement of my own account on the web... it's something i'm very very careful with.
As for my statements well believe me if you want... there would be no interest in lying. I didn't claim I made 100% a month I just talked in a matter of pips, which actually even with positive pips someone can be in the negative in terms of profit and loss...
Anyhow, right now my open trades are up almost 2000+ pips, and 80% of that come alone from GBPUSD (700pips) and GBPJPY (800 pips)

Re: Sniper Update
Hi,
Thanks for the update.
We think it is now appropriate to move on so this thread does not become just a two way conversation which is probably of little interest to others, as that is not the reason we created and now maintain this site.

Hey guys - how come you only had 182 pips for February?
I am using the 1 hour time frame and got 337 and took the first 4 days of last week off.
I've got the results in a spreadsheet that I'm not sure how to post on here.

Re: Sniper 182 Pips In February
Hi compound3,
This is always one of the issues we have with trading Sniper and we now pay little interest to it. Although a seemingly mechanical system our entries are never the same as others, and it's fine, it's something we live with. The only thing we really do different is not trade Fridays after midday. The main reason we report all our trades is to provide others with a benchmark.
It will be interesting to compare next months too at a high level, so thanks for sharing, appreciated.

That gives me a monthly total of 55 points profit, with an average stop of 65 points
and a 2% risk per trade equals a little over 1.5% return on the account for the month.
Just out of interest that's a return on my account of about 6% since starting this trading strategy
in November 09.That's not too bad I don't suppose but there can be alot of screen time involed.
Fortunately I am in a position to monitor the trades as and when required as I trade my own system
and therefore don't rely solely in this investment for an income.

Re: February Sniper Forex Performance
Thanks again for taking the time to update and provide results, it's appreciated. It is quite strange how we all get different results, sometimes quite significantly. However, as mentioned above we have just come to accept this now.
As it happens we have just recently put our stats together for Sniper, as follows:
August 2009 4.4%
September 2009 22.8%
October 2009 4.3%
November 2009 0.7%
December 2009 -17.9%
January 2010 -1.7%
February 2010 4.6%
TOTAL 17.2%
So, if we had avoided December, would be doing quite nicely, but, lesson learnt, don't trade December Forex markets. Still reasonably content with performance as our screen time is infrequent.
As a note, do you use the email alert facility included in Sniper, we find it useful, emails come straight into gmail account on G1 android phone, greatly reduces screen time. Just a thought.
