MID-AUGUST UPDATE

All,

Apologies for the lack of communication of late. I have been rather occupied with a few things; enjoying the summer, www.systemsfortraders.com and adding some value to the BOM Signals service.

Core Service

You may have noticed recently that there have been no Core service trades and there is a reason for this. Looking at the 100% Club signals of late some of you may have noticed that they are mostly "One Touch" trades. This is because that is where I am finding value (more on this below) in the market at present when analysing the markets each day. So, yes I am getting some signals for Core service trades, however, I am not getting the value (from BetOnMarkets) I would like, e.g. upwards of 30% for a 7 Day - No Touch trade. I am still looking for these trades each day and when I get some acceptable level of value I will be trading it.

100% Club

There are at preent 4 losing trades and 2 winning trades expired this month, I am assuming the AUD/USD trade expiring tonight will close as a losing trade. Of the 4 open trades remaining, 3 are in the Black as I look and one (from this morning) is trading in the Red. This trade, incidentally is one that offered good value this morning and is also a reasonable hedge position to take based on the nature of the other open trades.

Adding Some Value (by showing you where I see value)

Basically each time I look for a trade for the 100% Club my primary focus is finding value in the market (with BetOnMarkets), the results of which I also use when conducting my Core service analysis. Anyway, I do document this process every time I look for a trade and as I already do this I decided to transpose my results into a simplified version and share it with you. I will go into more detail in the email to follow so that you have the information all in one place.

MONTHLY UPDATE - AUGUST 2009

Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend (those of you in the UK) - I am in Malta at the moment and not having to worry at all about rain or traffic, hopefully you are not either.

Core Service

Just one trade this month and as I write it is still open so will be rolled over to September's results. At present I am happy with this trade although the move has been slightly against us since entry. However, the set-up was sound, the technical level was appropriate, the odds on offer were pretty good and its a quite valid trade. With some hope the EUR will strengthen against the Swissie from this level to re-test the previous highs.

As evident from the Daily value sheet - it is still quite clear that value is to be had in the market on the "One Touch" trades rather than "No Touch" trades. I am currently testing a couple of strategies which I may look to implement so I can include 1 touch in my "Core" trading.

100% Club

Back to winning ways! I count 7 winning trades and 6 losing trades this month for a net +5% this month. This still hasn't pulled us back into the Black for the year but is encouraging at least and a sound stepping board.

I didn't get time to update it last month so apologies, have been quite busy with www.systemsfortraders.com, but I intend to get it updated right after this email goes out. So all recent results will be there and posted this evening all being well.

Easy Trade Fixed Odds Strategy Update (10% gain since July)

This system continues to perform well and I continue to trade it myself. A couple of members are also using the system and updating their progress at http://www.systemsfortraders.com/fixed-odds-easy-trade/. July and August has seen one trader increase their account by 10% with no losing trades for very little effort (all trades reported in the forum) and we can confirm that we have had similar trades to those reported too.

Additionally, the www.systemsfortraders.com website will be updated this evening to include, due to popular request, a rating for each system/service review.

An amicable agreement was reached a number of weeks ago and I can now confirm that BOM Signals has merged with Fixed Odds Investments. As of today the two companies will operate as Fixed Odds Services Limited (www.fixedoddsservices.com).

We have already met a number of times and Vern has numerous ideas on improving the 100% Club and the aligning of our Core strategies which is already proving fruitful.
