Thought I'd better introduce myself as I've been a member here for a week and been gleaning as much information as I can

Worked for many years as an Applications Engineer specialising in CAD - CAM systems for industry, and did consultancy work for all the big names in British industry (what's left of it), but fancies a change when the opportunity came along. I currently work for a live events and communication agency as a Project Engineer (technical guru and assistant PM), but it looks like not for much longer - yes it's cut time at work, they can employ 2 graduates for my salary, and no longer require my specific expertise

Was introduced to the concept of trading 4 years ago whilst running a 3D CAD training course - one of my students was heavily into it, and I did a bit of research myself. Never got round to trying it out, then the crash came and put me off Anyway, been having a dabble trading recently, but need some systems to be more productive as I'm probably going to have quite a bit of time on my hands come Friday afternoon.

Anyway, SFT looks like a great place and I hope to contribute as much as I can - made 20 pips eating a sandwich at lunchtime today.
