Re: "Newbie"
Hi Valencia,
We personally hate the word "newbie" and try and avoid using it at all costs - in our opinion we are all "newbies" and learning all the time, it is one of the reasons we set this forum up - to share our knowledge and also learn from others.
We cannot recommend any system as we have no basis, we do not know peoples attitude to risk, time constraints, financial situation, desires, aims, etc. etc. and we may add, do not wish to know. However, it seems you are taking an appropriate approach, read what others views are, seek out words from those with more experience and err on the side of negativity as there is so so much sales material out there. Hopefully this site will provide a reasonable foundation and we look forward to your continued contribution.
On a recommendation front, any "newbie" asking, we always point them to Forex Trading Online: Foreign Exchange (FX) Currency Trading Made Fun, an excellent source of knowledge, in our opinion for all those new to trading. Additionally, the 3 Ducks, a free offering, is also, in our opinion a more than reasonable starting point for many, there is a review in the Forex Trading Systems section on this website.
Hope it helps and be careful out there!

I've only just read this - sorry for having used the word 'newbie' in the other forum areas :-)

No worries whatsoever, it's just a personal term we prefer to avoid - we have no problems whatsoever if others use it - Thanks for your continued contributions to the site.
