I took USDCAD with an additional safety margin at 0.9830 for 40% return.

Next week there is BoE meeting, so we shouldn't take the GBPUSD trade, but there has been so long since the last trade that I took it anyway with a reduced stake.

I took USDCAD No Touch Above 9788 for 87%

It looks like my USDCAD No Touch Above 9788 for 87% was taken out by a short spike today!
No trades showing at all this week.

Yep - CAD and GBP lost if you took either - There was room to move CAD out and avoid GBP - We didn't take them, merely observing to see how it's going.

My conservative approach in the USDCAD trade paid off. I escaped the spike, but unfortunately haven't got the same positive result with GBPUSD. It was stopped.

As I split the 5% risk per trade as 3.75% CAD and 1.25% GBP in the end I've got a very small profit. Almost break even.

So far, since I started trading FX Friday in mid-November I'm still in the red (-6.3%). Not keeping my hopes up I'm afraid.

We took NZDUSD as we had a spare 5 minutes - very small stakes - just to see !

I sent my copy back and was refunded, however, before this, I found that you could quite often get (much) better odds by waiting until the bet was on the verge of losing, adding a 20 - 30 pip safety margin and going for a 1 day trade. This seemed to work quite well at times, but needed someone with more time (and experience!) than me to make a success of the strategy.
