Question MT4 - what is it?

I don't normaly trade Forex and don't know anything about the MT4 platform that you refer to in the review of the London Forex Rush System. Is it just another trading platform (like Capital Spreads) or is there something special about it?. And do I have to use it with this system or can I use my normal platform? I'd appreciate your advice since this system looks like something I'd be interested in using.

    Regards

    Default Mt4

    Hi,

Metatrader 4 (MT4) is actually a charting package and it is provided by many Forex Brokers out there, if you google "metatrader 4 brokers" you will find a whole list of them very easily. Many of them are free for a certain period of time on a demo account and usually free for ever if you deposit cash with them on a live account (even if you never use it).

This system (London Forex Rush) does require the use of MT4 as the custom indicators are designed for that platform. We personally use ODL (as they have a UK presence) but it's all a matter of preference.

This is not really the place to go into too much detail and the information that is already freely available on the internet would probably be of much more use than what we could provide you with.

Hope it helps, good luck with the system and do please report back your findings should you progress.

    Default Changing signals

GBP/AUD showed a short trade this morning, then switched between short and No Trade several times over a couple of minutes. I didn't take the trade as the risk/reward ratio was unfavourable. There has now been an upside breakout and No Trade is signalled again....

Default Re: Changing Signals On London Forex Rush

We have also experienced this as and when we are looking around 08:00 (UK local time). What happens though, in our experience, is that after "decision time" (08:00 UK local time) the signal doesn't switch any more. That's the time we decide on whether to trade or not and then, generally, Set & Forget.

This is with the caveat that we note in our review, we have seen it happen once and only once. What you experienced today may be similar but we didn't notice it, we had no signals and no trades this morning on London Rush.

It is worth keeping an eye on this to ensure signals don't change after 08:00, which we continue to do so. As mentioned, its an issue we only experienced only once in the past and an issue to which we received no response from the London Rush support email address. If we do notice we will post in here and we also appreciate any others experiencing any "re-painting" after "decision time".

    Hi,

    BillyL
Can you tell me if you had any success downloading the template file? I have purchased the system through the site affiliates link but I have had the same problem.

    Review team,
I have a demo account with ODL but cannot get this sytem to work. Also did you open an account with ODL and if so do you trade off it. What happens if you change brokers as there is a download limit time?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Apswift1467,

The video link that comes with the system shows how to load the template, we had no problems at all. And yes we are running on ODL and we then place actual trades with a UK Spread betting company.

With ODL we asked for an extension on the demo account so it didn't expire and they obliged. We also use Alpari and that demo account has never expired so maybe they are an alternative for you to consider.

    Thanks for the reply guys.

I have spent all weekend trying to get this to work on ODL and MIG FX which is recommended.
Unfortunately I did not know there was a time limit for the download but I am running out of time. I don't think I am alone in having difficulties making this work - and I am not blaming anybody - but since you have had some success trading this, could you tell me what I am doing wrong or if you had trouble downloading the template file in particular which just opens a new window full of Code with no opteion to Save.

    Anybody else crack this one?

Also if I can't get this to work before I run out of time is the money back option still valid, since it is obvious from correspondence on this website that "support" is none existent.

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Regards,

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

    No problems, you are welcome.

We just followed the instructions, e.g. download the template file into the appropriate directory (where MT4 is installed). There is no need to open the file as such. Then in MT4 we applied the template and like we say, no problems, we were up and running. Not sure of what else we can say or do to try and help, perhaps some others may post some information.

Re: Support, you are absolutely right, trying to contact them is pointless as to date we have not received one single acknowledgement.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi All,

I've just downloaded this today also.

I saved all the files and then saved them in the ODL directory.

So you save indicators in indicators and template in template and then i just loaded up the template.

Mine appears blank at the the moment, I assume it starts early in the morning.
