Guys - thanks for your posts - and feedback. Points noted.
Pirates - unfortunately it would seem that some of these are from within the ranks of the forum members themselves - hence the MTF3 being in standard thread format as opposed to a manual. I cannot help people who are not members.
Our modus operandi is to mail new members after about one month offering a skype session with the use of a screensharing tool (Mikogo) - this to iron out any problems they have met and discuss trading in general. About 10% take me up on it. A skype session discussing the MTF3 is also offered later if they wish. We also have 6 or 7 very good traders (zorba..!!) who give up their time freely for skype sessions - all are very approachable and with differing styles of trading the dogs. To my mind, only a fool would pass this up. It is similar in the Trading Room - ask away with your questions. Ditto, forum. I only wish something like this were available when I started out on my trading journey.
The facilities are there - I cannot force people to use them. Without seeming a little harsh it is usually those that do not use them who tend to slate the Dogs. Often reviewers too..!!
The Dogs are so so easy to use... but... they have to be used correctly.
Thank you.

Thanks again Dave, it is pleasing to note that your comments are also in line with the conclusion in our review:
PRO's
• Lots of good support.
CON's
• The sheer volume of material - Too much information, too many variants/views/opinions/nuances.
• Lots of currency pairs and screen time - No alerts for us, we didn't use the indicators as we evidenced repainting.ReviewTeam - www.systemsfortraders.com

Dave.
You will see from my previous posts that I have traded your Black Dog system in the past. I made it clear that whilst it did not work for me, that did not mean that it would not work for others. However, I stand by what I said. The repainting of the indicators is a real problem when you start out. If you want to check back over your trades to try and learn from your mistakes it actually isnt always possible, and you can be left scratching your head wondering why you took the trade in the first place. I have traded other systems with custom indicators and have encountered repainting, but not to the same extent as the Dogs.
To say that you made the MTF3 instructions long-winded to avoid pirating does not make sense to me. I went through the MTF3 thread a couple of times and made my own summary which was about half a page (or less). Anyone who wants to put the MTF3 rule base on the Net could do so easily. Other Black Dog owners here are all saying the same thing - it's confusing enough when you start trading without having to wade through lots of superfluous chat to find the relevant information.
Whilst I did not avail myself of the Mikogo offer, I have to say that when I PM'd you and other senior members you all responded within 24 hours and were very helpful. In addition, your 'free stuff' section is amazing - I spent hours in there!
The Dogs is a very visual way of trading - which I really liked. I was convinced, initially, that I had finally found something that would work for me. However, after 3 months I had to accept that I was wrong. I traded off the 15 min chart and recorded what would have happened to my trades if I had used set stops, variable stops, different targets etc. All stops and targets showed a loss over the 3 months trading several different pairs (although GU was profitable throughout - but not enough to make up for my losses on the other pairs).
So my overall view?
From a visual perspective - the charts are really easy to use
Lots of helpful senior members
Awesome 'free stuff'
HOWEVER:
Whilst the 'MTF' aspect of it helps - it is a trend following method with the usual trend following problems
The repainting is a problem
Information overload is a problem
15 min charts require a lot of chart time (if I were tempted back it would be using a longer time frame)
The choice of pairs seems to affect the profitability
Other vendors provide refunds up to certain period of time - I would like to see you do the same for new purchasers of the Black Dog.

While the Quick Fix is welcome in principle it's a pity the Black Dog people have decided to charge those who have already paid out for the original system, no discount, no refunds.....

Looks like Fatchance has answered my question.
It appears from the website that purchasers of the Black Dog 'Quick Fix' can upgrade (no upgrade cost mentioned) to the full system. Obviously, depending on how much the upgrade costs, it would seem a little unfair that subscribers to the original Black Dog are not entitled to either free or discounted access to the 'Quick Fix'. I suspect there are many original Black Dog owners who found the site too wieldy, and have therefore abandonned it, who would welcome the opportunity to revisit the Dogs in a simpler format. To expect them to pay an additional $100+ seems a bit harsh.

Does anyone know if the Blackdog "Quick Fix" method uses the same indicators as the original Blackdog?

We have no idea as we have not used it yet, if we get time after the summer it is something we may get round to looking at.
