    Hi KRLY

I would think that my results are worse than they should be as I missed at least two +50 pip days due to work/ silly errors in the early months. Also I close it at 8.15 so sometimes miss some late movement. Still, if it can give a regular profit and limited losses (my only loosing month was Feb at -44 pips) it's not bad! My other results were Jan +93, March +67, April +150.

Just a quick update: I bought this in April, and after a tricky first few weeks it has really come good this week with a +150 pip profit week Wahoo!

    Default May Update

As promised here are our Net Trap results for May:

    • 8 trades
    • 4 winners and 4 losers
    • Net profit of 54 pips, circa +4%

Note: % return is based on risking 2% of account balance per trade with a fixed stop loss of 30 pips - Net Trap offical results showed a profit of 37 pips.

As mentioned in the original review, this system ticks a lot of our boxes, timing, 100% mechanical, effortless and profitable (over a short period of time at present). We will continue to trade this system in real-time with the potential view of adding it to our Systems We Use list.

We will, as always, be reporting back and will make our decision in due course.

You can find more detail of our (and other members) Daily Net Trap trading in our Free Live trading Room here.

Just a quick question. You say in your initial review that the system is 100% mechanical, yet in the trading room you say in one post "There is some degree for interpretation/leeway with Net Trap at times - It is not 100% clear mechanically, in our opinion." Please can you expand on this. Thanks very much.

    Default 100% Mechanical

    Hi, welcome to the forum.

Well spotted. During the review we had a process (indicator) we followed based on the rule set. This was all fine during the review period. Subsequently, after opening the trading room, it became clear that the system is not 100% mechanical, as we came across situations not encountered during the initial review, and in fact we are now trying to establish some firmer ground rules. This is the advantage of running a system for a reasonable period of time prior to committing "serious" (your own) money to a system.

Apologies for this and thanks for pointing it out - we will make a note in the original review.

    Default Net Trap Support

Since writing the review and encountering a couple of individual "border-line" signals we have had to use Net Trap support - As a note - It took 2 - 3 days for a response on each occasion, not so good. It also appears, at the time of writing this post that the system is no longer for sale. We are pursuing this.

Guys the system is not being sold right now. It apears as if it is off the market for a few months while current purchasers get to grips with the system.

I use selftrade as a broker. I was wondering do you need any special tools that are on IG index to make an indicator?
