I took the course this week.
I've been tentatively trading for a while now, but no matter how many books you read it makes the world of difference to be taught directly by someone who trades professionally.

Andy gives some valuable insights on this method that he uses every day, and I really feel I now have a solid base on which to trade. I used to miss out a lot with stops too tight, but now I have the confidence to have stops wide enough to allow the market to breath, while still knowing where my edge is.

Meant to report back here. January was -12% and February has been better with +4%.

My results for February 2011 still trading 20 stop with 40 target:

6 losses
4 winners
2% risk each trade
Total: +4%

Thanks for the stats - Did you out of interest do anything with analysing Stop/Target - Say 30 Stop/50 Target etc.

Zorba - from one legend to another - (and RT and anyone else interested)

I've analysed my results more closely and of the 6 losers, 2 would have hit their target had I entered 1 pip closer to the price but the other 4 losers needed stops of between 80 - 195.

As for the 4 winners they had a potential maximum profit of +90/+118/+214 & +124.

Thanks Sarn - Seems the 20/40 balance may not be too far off unless of course 20/35 is more appropriate !

On the basis that the 'winners' had a lot more steam left in them after I'd taken my cut I think I would be looking to increase my target rather than decrease it?

My entries are quite conservative so I will make them a little more agressive this month and see if that has an effect on the results.
