I find the original 3 ducks method works better for me because I'm a bit of a control freak and cant resist meddling. Its a shorter time frame than the advanced method which means I feel more in control. To be fair I dont tend to stick to his (original 3 ducks) rules - I'll use them for entry but for trade management I vary them a bit. I like to see how much the currency has moved recently and I'll take a view on how much I think its going to move. So I may just put a limit of say 30 and a stop of 15 (for example) and leave it alone.
One of the many things that this site is teaching me is to just shrug my shoulders at the losses .....and I've had many. Knowing that you're trading the same system as others who have the same results makes you realise that it's not that you're useless - or that the system you're using doesn't work - its just all part and parcel of the trading 'thing'. It's given me the confidence to stick with a 'system' even when it's going against me and not jump from system to system searching for the holy grail. Also, when I make a complete mess of a trade I can see what others have done, get feedback, and it just reinforces the fact that you must be disciplined and objective to play this game. Am so pleased I found this site (saw it in the Investors Chronicle I think?) cos its made a huge difference to my trading (mostly confidence). I'm still not in profit - but I feel that I'm in control of the trades now rather than the other way round.
Am more than happy to post trades on a weekly basis, however Andy appears to be on holiday at the moment so probably won't trade the advanced system again until he comes back as he gives helpful updates on various currencies and levels for entry etc.
Apologies if some of above is off topic.

After wasting thousands of pounds and time on systems and course I did Andy's 3 Ducks 1 on 1 Training Course. I liked the simplicity and the logic behind the 3 ducks. Andy is a great person to work with and his training course has made a huge difference on my trading. I'm a self employed plumber and I would look at the charts in the morning using the 3 ducks before I head off in my van.
If you are serious about making your trading profitable then talk to Andy, the 195 Euros seems like nothing now.

Trading Room - 3 Ducks 1 on 1 Training Course
All,
Thanks for the posts related to actually trading the 3 Ducks 1 on 1 Training Course methodology. On a good will basis we have agreed to host a password protected Trading room just for this purpose. Only registered members of SystemsForTraders and those who have done the course will be able to access and freely discuss the methodology.
We have tried to move the previous trading related posts but we could not do this in a constructive manner, so apologies for this.
The password to the room will be issued by Andy Perry (aka Captain Currency) TO THOSE TRADERS WHO HAVE DONE THE 1 ON 1 COURSE in his twice weekly report.
You can find the new room here.ReviewTeam - www.systemsfortraders.com

A big Thank You to Captain Currency!!!
Thank you so much Andy, for the training you conducted on June 14.
I held back sending in my testimonial even after I got back my training fee till now, when I have made US$800 (50% of my capital), after a one full month of trading.
I am so glad to report that I am finally trading with a consistent profit. Its all with due respect based on your 3 ducks strategy and good training given.
I am very grateful to you for the turning point you made in my forex trading experience that I intend to transform as a lifetime career in time.
Your student,
Anna (Singapore)
