Hi Scott,
Forgive me if I take the historic results with a pinch of salt, an average of 4000 pips or 160% a year for four years is remarkable to say the least, and you would be outperforming any hedge fund manager I dare say. I just think it's prudent in a review like this to establish credibility, as we have to assume for the sake of review that you have come from out of nowhere. I don't see any reference to Positive FX on any other forums for example.
Sorry if my tone implies you are being less than honest as that is not my intention, I just think it's good to cast a critical eye over any claims we see in the FX market so that we can all make informed investment decisions. As you say, there are a lot of scams out there.
It would be useful if you could supply, say, a year of entries and exits from 2006 or 2007, or an historic live statement, something like that. Something that would allow us to back test your results. Sharing your future results isn't as helpful, as you have already taken people's money with with the lure of historic results and no offer of a refund.

Hi Raskol,
I understand where you are coming from and the views you have shared. I do not take offence to any comments, I take them as constructive. We will have to disagree regarding past results and also showing past statements... all of which can be faked. The only way that cannot be faked is to produce future results which have been proofed by a third party, which is what I am setting up as I have breifly explained.
I fully accept that readers will take one view or another and as such I wish to make this point very clear: Please do not sign up unless you are prepared for trading results good or bad. Every website including mine should say that no guarantees can be offered for the future and as such this should be a big caution to all that you should never be 'lured in' by past results. I simply cannot do anything about this (the future) except work hard on a daily basis.
I would say that sharing my future live statement in the way I plan to will act as transparent proof as you point out... the only way you are going to see this is by checking back in a years time thats the only problem I guess.
I am personally saying right now, anyone who is not sure about joining my FOREX service or any other service: WAIT until you are totally ready and feel the time is right for you personally.
Once again I hope my points come across right (and not defensive etc) and I am sure some will agree or disagree, but ultimately I am saying do not subscribe until you personally are happy to do so, that way it can aviod the 'lured in' feeling from any investment.
Thanks,
Scott.

I have been trading PositiveFX signals for the last two months. Scott and Lisa are a pleasure to deal with - always pleasant and polite. I seem to have chosen the worst time to join them as it has been two losing months. I traded all three systems, taking every signal apart from one system 3 signal which I was unable to act on and I didnt resubmit all of the system 2 trades when they were stopped out. At the end of every week I checked my results with theirs and, allowing for rounding up and down and IG slippage, they were pretty much the same. I wont post the actual no of pips I am down by as the info is on their website for anyone to see. My risk was 2% on each trade (maybe not good money management?) and at the end of the two months my PosFXftrading account for all three systems is down by 6%. That doesnt include the £100/month the service costs.
Overall, not the best outcome and I haven't renewed my subscription for this month. I understand that the summer is not the best time for trading, and as Scott's previous results have been good (apart from May) I can only assume that I was unlucky with my timing.

Yeah - 'Tweaked' Net trap has done well this summer too. To be fair though, if you check out London Forex Open that has had a disastrous couple of months over the summer as well as PosFX. I have no reason to disbelieve the cracking results posted on the PositiveFX website prior to August. I was very thorough in my scrutiny of the weekly results that Scott and Lisa sent and they matched mine.

PositiveFX - September Results
Apologies for the delay in getting these results posted we were just waiting for the official results from Positive FX in order that we could make a like for like comparison with our own experiences.
Risk is, again, 2% of account balance per trade.
The advertised returns for this system are as follows:
System 1 -333 pips
System 2 -335.9 pips
Our bottom line results were, as in the previous two months, slightly different, System 1 for -351 pips and System 2 for -340 pips, slippage, rounding, etc.
So compared with the advertised -668.9 we also incurred a loss, slightly higher at -691. Average Stop across both systems was around 80 pips so this is a 17% loss based on a 2% risk per trade.
We will continue with this system into the month of October and report back, at present we are in positive territory.ReviewTeam - www.systemsfortraders.com

PositiveFX - October Results
The advertised returns for this service for October are as follows:
System 1 - +257.9 pips
System 2 - +63.2 pips
Our bottom line results were, as in the previous three months, slightly different, System 1 +251 pips and System 2 +60 pips, accounting for slippage, rounding, etc. So, a net +311 pip return compared to +321.1.
Risk is, again, 2% of account balance per trade, average Stop across both systems was around 75 pips so this is a +8% profit for the month.
Nice to see the service return to positive territory and on this note we will cease coverage of Positive FX on the basis that we are satisfied that the reported results are accurate and achievable. Thus, should the service return to previous levels of performance we would be of the opinion that they too are accurate.
For those following this service we of course welcome your updates.ReviewTeam - www.systemsfortraders.com
