For your information.
These are my results since 15th September, with starting pot of £500 and 2% risk with Enhanced Profits Staking Plan.
15/09/10 £3.43 £3.43
16/09/10 -£10.14 -£6.71
17/09/10 £3.41 -£3.30
20/09/10 -£10.11 -£13.40
21/09/10 -£10.25 -£23.65
22/09/10 £6.70 -£16.96
23/09/10 £6.70 -£10.26 (couldn't trade, figures from website)
24/09/10 -£10.00 -£20.26
27/09/10 £3.41 -£16.85 (couldn't trade, figures from website)
28/09/10 £6.73 -£10.12
Why is it the days I can't trade are winning days, and days I can are losing :-(
Hopefully soon will break even.

One concern I have about this system is, if it is as successful as it has been, and if it is heavily marketed, then so many people will use it and then the market makers and spread betters like Gekko will set their prices so that it no longer works.
But this is a concern about any successful system that is heavily marketed.

Seems to me that the result often depends on how nimble one is when placing the orders. I've been a bit slow and it has worked to my advantage, but I gather it's swings and roundabouts and it evens out in the end.

Blind,
Would be most useful if you would also post the Net result for the day, or have we missed something, we think you are reporting the two separate results of each side of the trade - Apologies if we have this wrong as we have just skimmed the manual so far and not actually traded.
Re: Brokers and pricing, brokers will always make their money on the spread, each time you trade. This is regardless of how much risk they take onto their own books/hedge in the market. Additionally to this, it would be difficult for even 10,000 "small" traders to even scratch the surface of a smallish institutional trade.ReviewTeam - www.systemsfortraders.com

Morning all,
I think most of us are 2 out of 2 this week- so far so good. Got a funny feeling about today, no major news due out of Europe, markets a bit range bound, maybe things will drift a bit today? Hope I'm wrong!

Rats! I looked at the TP on the DAX today and thought 'hmm, I should bring that in a bit to be under the resistance from the past 12 hours' but *no*, I thought 'don't meddle'. Looks like I've had myself over again, especially with the Wednesday boost. But for a fiver I should have bailed out.
I think a big stink with this system is that losses are 2x your wins mostly. I've yet to see a 2x win day and even with one loss, your B/E is already a big chunk of pips. My fault for watching the screen - I'm trying to test myself like Muad'dib with the box. The pain!

I'm not sure how but my account is showing another win day today...not that I'm complaining. My DAX (short) stop got hit at 10.30 at 6250.19 (entry 6231.50 at 9.16) and the CAC limit hit 3764.2 at 10.31 (entry 3741.75). Zorba - any chance you can post your entries so I can see why we dont agree. I dont check the charts to see which way the prices are going - too tempting - this will be my first true exercise in 'set & forget' so will be interesting to see how it goes.

Actually - whilst the bet itself was a winning one I lost money...I should have typed 2.60 as the CAC bet and I only typed 0.6 so I lost overall. I'm frantically trying to think up an excuse for being so careless and in the absence of anything better I'll blame the dog....

Hi Sarnia,
This is interesting, my trade for today was buy DAX/sellCAC! I was reading your post trying to figure out how you got stopped out at 6250 on the DAX when my limit was 6270! Maybe it's because my trading history on the evaluator goeas back further? Still, all worked out in the end. Dogs are good for blame, also consider the 'phone, postpersons, (note the pc!), my 2 year old son comes in for a lot of stick....
Zorba, I sympathise as that's happened to me more than once! I always check Forex Factory for economic announcements from Europe/GB in case there could be something thtat could throw things out- today there was nothing out of Europe so I was tempted to lower the TP. In the end I got away with it but not by much!
